Robin Quivers, who cohosts The Howard Stern Show alongside Howard Stern, revealed that she is cancer-free.
During the Monday, June 1, episode — and in a clip shared to the radio show’s YouTube account — the shock jock, 72, said that he had “a chill” being able to announce that Quivers, 73, had “the best news ever.”
“I am cancer-free,” the radio personality declared.
“What do you think of that?” Stern said. “Fourteen years ago, when Robin was diagnosed, she took charge of her health. She started to do all the right things. She never deviated, and I’m telling you, Robin, on behalf of this show — and, of course, to me — you’re the most important, and I love you.”
“I am so happy for you, and I don’t even know what you must be feeling inside,” Stern continued, to which Quivers said that she felt like “a brand-new person.”
Quivers, who was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, previously announced in 2013 that she was in remission, but her cancer had returned years later.

“When you read the piece of paper that said cancer-free, you probably were like checking it nine times to make sure you were reading it right,” Stern said to his cohost.
“I was like a person who has won the lottery and can’t believe their eyes when they’re seeing all the numbers,” Quivers explained, saying she thought: “Is this what I think it says?”
Calling it an “unbelievable miracle,” Stern told her: “God bless you. Congratulations. I can’t be happier.”
In 2013, according to ABC News, Stern told listeners, “I gotta be honest, I thought she was a goner. I can’t tell you how dire everything seemed.”
