Harry Potter Star Nick Moran’s Health Crisis Doctors Feared He’d Never Walk or Talk Again
Friends and loved ones of Harry Potter actor Nick Moran are breathing a sigh of relief now after doctors warned that “he might never walk or talk again” following “life-threatening” spinal cord surgery.
How the 55-year-old actor, who played evil bounty-hunter Scabior in the last two Potter flicks, injured his neck is still a mystery, but he underwent emergency surgery, where docs replaced four bones in his neck with artificial ones.
“It was micro surgery and because there’s so many nerves around the neck and spine, this made the operation tricky,” says friend Terry Stone. He notes that Nick “is speaking now, which is a good sign, but he’s shuffling around like a 100-year-old.”
