Katherine, 36, kicked off the tribute slideshow with throwback photos of herself as a little girl with her dad. Midway through the carousel was what appeared to be a recent photo of Arnold and Shriver smiling side by side during a ski trip, according to a report Page Six published on Tuesday, August 4.

Katherine also posted another photo from the same getaway featuring her younger brother, White Lotus starPatrick Schwarzenegger, 32, who commented on the post with a string of red heart emojis.
Arnold and Shriver wed in April 1986 and welcomed four children before separating in 2011. In addition to Katherine and Patrick, they share daughter Christina, 35, and son Christopher, 28. The split came after it emerged that Arnold had fathered son Joseph Baena, 28, with the family’s longtime housekeeper, Mildred Baena. Their divorce was finalized in December 2021.
The majority of the feedback in the comments section of Katherine’s post consisted of birthday wishes for Arnold. One user wrote, “Your father has been my idol for 46 years,” while another commented, “Happy birthday to our dear Arnie the commando, the terminator, the action man.” A third added, “He is one in a million. God bless him and how much he tries to help his fellow man.”

However, not everyone approved of the family photo. One follower questioned its inclusion, writing, “Why would you post a picture of him with Maria when they’re not together.”
Despite the split, the pair have remained close. As Globe previously reported, an insider said the two “talk all the time,” adding, “Mostly it’s about the kids, but they are friendly and close enough that they confide details about their personal lives, knowing it won’t go further.” The insider also called Shriver “his rock and sounding board.”
