“Deuce” the Horse Aerial Rescue After Slipping Down Embankment San Juan Capistrano, CA

Deuce, a confident horse, found himself stranded after slipping down an embankment in San Juan Capistrano on February 25th. Despite being uninjured, Deuce couldn’t climb back up the steep slope, leading firefighters to initiate a rescue operation. After a failed attempt on foot, a helicopter was used to airlift the sedated horse to safety, where he was carefully hoisted to his feet and walked to his stable for further evaluation. Thanks to a collaborative rescue effort, Deuce is expected to make a full recovery.
