Money has wrecked the 60-year friendship and partnership of the legendary music duo Hall & Oates, sources say, with Daryl Hall totally nixing any chance of mending the rift!

“That ship has gone to the bottom of the ocean,” a furious Hall insists.

Hall and John Oates were one of the most successful duos in pop music history, with ’80s hits such as Kiss on My List, Maneater and Private Eyes, until Hall bitterly axed their dynamic team in 2023 by clobbering his pard with a lawsuit claiming Oates tried to sell off his half of the publishing rights to their many hit tunes for $60 million — without getting his permission!

Far-from-humble Hall, 78, bragged he had penned “90 percent” of the group’s hit songs, and branded the 76-year-old Oates’ attempt to sell off their music as the “ultimate betrayal.”

“Daryl and John currently have a love/hate relationship,” spills a music industry source. “John still loves Daryl, but Daryl is still seething, feeling that John tried to pull the rug out from under him.”

Still, the source tells GLOBE the Hall & Oates story could yet have another chapter!

“If a promoter comes along and offers them tens of millions of dollars to reunite and go on a tour, you’d be surprised how that bad blood would run green — with dollar signs!” chuckles the insider.
