Country Star Kelsea Ballerini Sparks Pregnancy Buzz After Abrupt Tour Cancellation

Country cutie Kelsea Ballerini says it was the flu that caused her to grind her first-ever arena tour to a halt — but her rabid fans whisper that she may be coping with morning sickness!

Insiders say that Kelsea is pregnant with her hot actor boyfriend, Outer Banks star Chase Stokes.

The 31-year-old Cowboys Cry Too songbird set off alarm bells when she walked offstage just 20 minutes into a performance in Buffalo on Feb. 6, with her rep telling the disappointed crowd, “She can’t finish — she’s just too sick!”

Ballerini also canceled shows in Toronto and Pittsburgh before returning to her Patterns tour Feb. 10 in Philadelphia, but a TikTok poster wasn’t buying her excuse, writing, “Maybe pregnant?” Ballerini responded in a video, deadpanning, “Or maybe it’s the flu.”

But a friend tells GLOBE that the speculation hit a nerve with Ballerini, who has talked openly of battling anxiety and post-traumatic stress and that she sees a therapist at least twice a month!

She began dating Stokes in 2023 on the heels of her divorce from Australian singer Morgan Evans.

“Kelsea has been all nerves about doing the biggest headlining tour of her life, and doctors told her she left herself open to getting sick by wearing down her body with worry,” says a source.

“But having people speculating she’s knocked up by Chase only leaves her more fretful at a time when she’s already feeling tremendous pressure.

“She would love to have a baby with Chase, but she sees that as being down the road apiece!”
